Seven journalists and one designer operated the local news platform “neukoellner.net” from 2011 to 2017. Involved in several “Kiez-Aktionen”, local politics, and investigating Neukölln-Nord, we run the magazine—including two print versions during art festival “48-H-NK” until we handed it to the next generation. In 2015 we won the Grimme Online Award. And now in 2025 there would finally be options to get funded, as we learned while we are still mentioned and known in the local news community of Neukölln as the ones “who did it first”.
